Erwin Schrott to sing Dulcamara at the Met

 The Met has just announced that Erwin Schrott will sing the role of Dulcamara in the February run of Elisir d'Amore for the 2012-2013 season. These performances will mark the first on stage performances of the real life couple Anna Netrebko and Erwin Schrott at the Met.

    Now we just need Juan Diego Florez, Charles Castronovo or Joseph Calleja as the tenor and we will have the perfect cast.

    I would take Vargas,Florez or even better,Charlie Castronovo,but please spare me about Schrott and wifey. Definitely a bummer.
